Janine is a National Alliance Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She is committed to providing the highest level of insurance expertise and best service possible to her community.
She is an underwriter at heart, and as such, is far more concerned with educating her clients than with selling to them. Janine is focused on coaching and developing a staff that shares this philosophy

Janine gives back to her community by coordinating both the Severe Weather Shelter and Recovery in Community (RIC), and is on a community task force developing shelter options for the homeless. In her free time, she is a voracious reader, and enjoys spending time with family and her cat, James Bond. She feels blessed to have her son, Matthew, daughter-in-law, Keely, and two grandkids, Riley and Sawyer, living close by on the island; her daughter, Katie, lives in Portland.
Since moving to Orcas in 2009, she enjoyed working at Lacrimedics, the Resort at Deer Harbor, and Rosario, but in 2015 she was thrilled to return to doing what she knows and loves at San Juan Insurance.
